Yoga - Tips for Attending Yoga Class
|
- Dress in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
- Refrain from eating 2 hours before practice.
Arrive to class 10 minutes early.
Please do not wear strong perfumes or lotions to class.
Be sure to inform your teacher of any prior injuries,
special health conditions such as high blood pressure,
glaucoma or if you are pregnant. Taking these simple
precautions will help your practice remain safe and
pleasurable.
Pay attention to your body.
Go slowly and listen to your body. Learn to determine
whether you are pushing yourself to hard or lightly
challenging yourself to try a little more.
Most importantly remember to breathe.
