The privilege of Legacy Membership has been established first to
give added value to your Club membership; next, to perpetuate the
Club through family tradition and established bloodlines; and
finally, to provide affordable access to our Club and our Associate
Clubs to your descendants who will one day become leaders of our
social, business and professional communities.
As a member in
good standing, you have the rare distinction of being able to bestow
on your descendants a valuable gift. Legacy Membership grants your
designees preferred membership consideration not only in this Club,
but in any of the participating family of CCA Associate Clubs, truly
a unique privilege in the world of private clubs. Your designees
will be given the ability to defer payment of the customary
initiation deposit in any participating CCA Club for a minimum of
five years. The amount of the initiation deposit is determined on
the date the Legacy Membership is activated, thereby also protecting
your designees from future initiation deposit escalations.
Additionally, should circumstances require, a Legacy Member may
relocate his membership to another participating CCA Club in another
city at any time during his Legacy tenure and maintain the deferment
privilege.
At your discretion, Legacy Memberships may be
bestowed on any of your children or grandchildren. Your designees
may then join the CCA Club of their choice on a space available
basis and defer payment of the initiation deposit until their 35th
birthday. Your descendants under 35 will be given until their 35th
birthday to exercise their Legacy privilege.
Legacy
Memberships may be activated in any participating CCA Club subject
only to the availability of membership openings, and to the
admissions policies and procedures of each respective Club. Legacy
recipients may elect any existing "open" classification of
membership other than Founder or Charter Membership in Clubs under
organization.
For further information regarding this Legacy
Privilege or its enrollment procedures, please call the Membership
office.
