Should a Club Member in good standing move out of
the area, the current value of his existing membership may be
applied toward the initiation deposit required at any of our
participating Associate Clubs which are located more than 50 miles
from this Club. The current value of a membership is defined as the
current initiation required for that specific classification of
membership. (In the case of a Life Membership, the current value
will be calculated and may be applied against the initiation at
another Club in any dues-paying classifications.)
Upon
exercising this Relocation privilege, should the current value of a
Member's membership be less than the initiation required at another
Club, the relocating Member pays only the difference. Should the
current value be higher than the initiation at another Club, no
initiation will be required.
In the event of more than one
relocation, a Member retains the highest single value of any
previous Associate Club membership (recorded upon the date of
withdrawal from the former Club) which may be applied toward future
initiation requirements at participating Associate
Clubs.
Should either the desired Clubs or a specific
classification of membership be at its full complement, a relocating
Member will then be accepted on a space available basis when an
opening occurs, except in Clubs which are in the Founder or Charter
stages of development. There is no loss of relocation privileges or
transfer value in this instance as waiting list status is considered
current.
Only a current, active Club Member in good standing
is eligible for Inter-Club relocation, and only upon presentation of
a validated Relocation Transcript. To exercise the privilege,
contact the Club membership office.
